We really enjoyed the amazing view from our room each morning I could sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee as the sun came up over the waves. The hosts were thoughtful, like when they offered us beach gear , made our adventures that much more seamless.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive but given the location and service it was still reasonable.

It was a good old hotel in a local area, really close to a nice restaurant for dinner, and downtown shops and restaurants. The room was nicely decorated and well-kept with private bathroom and the view was gorgeous. I came here for 2 nights and had a really nice stay.

The cute hosts, guiding us to the best local spots. Breakfast was a treat, especially the macadamia and coconut pancakes-an absolute must! With beach gear available and amazing ocean views, it's hard not to fall in love with this place. Just be prepared for the rain and occasional noise of nature.

While the proximity to downtown Hilo is good, I found it slightly far for walking to more dining options, especially after dark.

The King Suite with Ocean View offered amazing views, letting the sound of the ocean wash over me while I relaxed. Sipping coffee on the ocean-facing lanai was a highlight of my mornings.

The room lacked A/C, which might be an issue for some, especially during warmer months. The ceiling fan aimed directly down onto the bed wasn't ideal for cooling either, prompting a desire for more effective ventilation like a standing fan.

We literally tossed and turned all night due to the heat. While I understand it's a natural feature of the location, it's still disappointing that we couldn't enjoy a restful night amidst such a lovely environment.

Inviting haven, excellent if you need a restful escape and personalized service with thoughtful amenities like beach gear and local tips.

Charming accommodations with well-designed rooms that offered a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast each morning was really good, with award-winning local meats. Humidity levels made for slightly uncomfortable sleeping conditions, and the lack of air conditioning may be an issue for some. A bit of road noise could disrupt relaxation at times, but the amazing views and thoughtful amenities balanced out the experience.

The king suite with ocean view was just perfect, and the breakfasts were delicious and filling. Every morning began with enjoying the amazing view of the bay, which exceeded my expectations.

The King Suite with Ocean View was spacious and cozy, with huge windows allowing the sound of the waves to fill the room. I loved having a private bathroom that wasnice and neat. The ocean-facing lanai was perfect for sipping coffee while watching the views. But it did get a bit warm. A fan would've been helpful. Still, the vibe was relaxing and enjoyable.

The view from our King Suite was amazing 🌊 The huge windows let in the sound of the ocean, and the breakfasts were delicious too. A ceiling fan would've really helped with the humidity.
